Stimulating substances

This artwork is the result of different experiments in Sarah's studio. She mixed the chemical compounds of different kind of stimulating substances which she then poured over picture negatives. The interaction between the substance and the surface created incredible shapes and colors, which all “behaved “in different ways.

Change in perspective

Since Sarah knows what all those stimulating substances look like as an image, the way in which she sees them changed. They become like colors a painter can use, or like the test tubes of a scientist.
