Water and fire
Navid's art often has a fleeting character. This is mainly due to the materials that Navid uses, such as water, fire, minerals and light. Navid makes impossible phenomena visible; things that you normally do not see, because they are not 'possible' or take place outside our sight.
Playing with your food
In the past, your parents may not have allowed it: playing with food. Navid Nuur lets us dream away for a moment with the pile of breakfast cereals. The colourful, fragrant Froot Loops stack a path to heaven. Whose breakfast bowl could this be?
Magical
Pretty magical, right? How do these small, light, sweet breakfast cereals balance? It is almost a child's dream that has come to life.
Lean back
With Navid Nuur's works, he always tries to get you moving. He challenges you to imitate it, to think about it, to come back to it and to dream about it. It simmers in your subconscious, or makes you part of the artwork. Are you also going to stack food at home?
