Laying bare

Alexandra wants to show us what is invisible. She does this using her camera. By making small changes and manipulating the image Alexandra calls our attention to the role photography has in the making of images. And how we experience them. In every project she does Alexandra incites the public to reconsider their trust in photographs. Alexandra wonders why and how it is that photography comes across as so real to viewers.

Alexandra says

“I am a sculptor or installation artist that uses photography as a tool”. Information changes and shifts as you moves between analog and digital, between two-dimensional and three-dimensional.
