Anna is a Dutch director and animator. She is specialized in puppet- and stop motion animation. This film was made while Anna was in her second year of Animation and Illustration at the art academy Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. She made this video while she was still a student. That makes her one of very few artist in our collection that hadn’t graduated at the time their work was made.

This video work is a stop motion animation. That means that it is built up out of photographs. The people you see are puppets that the artist moved a little bit for every photo. Can you imagine how much time it must have taken to make this video?
