Daniel goes to have dinner with people, after they are done eating he takes the used tableware home. He uses it to make his art. He eats with friends and celebrities. He arranges the tableware in his studio and sticks it down with glue.
In 1968 Daniel opens his own restaurant in Dusseldorf. It is called Eat Art Restaurant. Daniel cooks the food himself. He liked to interrupt peoples dinners when he likes the composition of their tableware. The guests can have their tables including tableware eternalized as a work of art.
Above his restaurant Daniel opened the Eat Art Gallery, where he sold edible and other food related art. His own works were sold there alongside those of other who used food as inspiration.
