Paul McDevitt

Notes to Self (3 oct 2012)

This is quite a challenge, being a drawing hanging in a room with big videos with lots of noises. But you found it! And it’s worth your attention, we believe.

Have you ever seen this combination of something very classical and a pizza slice with melting cheese on top? The melting food might remind you of another work in this room, the super sandwich sculpture by Stefan Gross.

‘Drawing is an immediate thing: everybody’s done it. It’s not like painting or sculpture. It’s a universal language’, Paul says.

Scotsman in Berlin

Paul was born in 1972 in Scotland. He now lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
