How different does this portrait look through the screen? In the 17th century artist tried to make it seem as if the painting is coming towards you. Unfortunately, back then they didn’t have an app for these kind of things. So they played tricks with perspective instead.
All these apps and novelties sure make our lives easier at times. Until the Wi-Fi is down, your battery runs out or your phone crashes and the screen turns to black. Dennis is intrigued by these kind of glitches. What you see, is just an illusion. Take away the screen and all there is left is a flat painting.
In the app Dennis uses, he’s able to paint in 3D. It doesn’t require a painting brush. He uses his hands to draw lines in the sky. There are even special effects such as a brush that paints with neon lights. Definitely something else than the usual finger painting right?
Imagine this artwork in your house. Where would you place it or hang it?
