There is beauty in everyday life. Erik Matthijssen certainly believes that. He sees still life’s in the garbage on the street, in his plate on the dinner table or in the packages on the shelves of the supermarket.

Erik gets inspiration from, among lots of other things, painted advertisements in Suriname. Perhaps you’ll recognize the products on this painting.
