Homework #4

This photo is part of a series in which Miles photographed beautiful women. They are all found in and around the house. Doing household things. They have beautiful make up on and are dressed nicely. But the look in their eyes. Does this woman look like she is happy? Or sad? It looks like she isn’t there. Like she is completely empty.

Miles started out as a fashion photographer. Later in his career he moved on to art photography. A lot of his works still include fashion and sometimes feel like they could be from a fashion magazine. Miles is bridging a gap between fashion and the visual arts.
