The artist, Alejandro, started experimenting with taking photos underwater in 2007. After many failed attempts and tons of broken equipment Alejandro gave up on the idea. Years later he told a friend about the project. The friend became so enthusiastic about it that he encouraged Alejandro to try again. Alejandro took some time to think about it and he found a method that works. He started with photographs and later moved on to making videos too.
