For Rafaël the Internet functions as his studio, his canvas and exhibition space all in one. Since 2001 Rafaël has been creating artworks in the form of websites. All of them exist online. The idea is that because of this they have no physical form or location. On some of the websites Rafaël has created the visitors can interact with the work. For instance by moving the cursor over the screen and seeing the image change as a result. Other website like this egg provide an almost hypnotic experience.

Rafaël is a Dutch-Brazilian artist who lives and works in New York.

This egg has been all over the world. You can see it here now but it has also been shown on the sides of buildings in Japan and America.
