What does your garden look like? Is everything trimmed into the perfect shape? Or do you just let it grow? Artist Juliette likes plants that grow in different directions. You can try to contain them all you want, but eventually they will go their own way.

Potatoes are the most popular kind of vegetables worldwide. Especially in the Netherlands potatoes are a favorite item on the menu. But the potatoe isn’t  actually a typical Dutch product. It’s roots are originally in the south of Peru.

What do you prefer? An old fashioned potato with gravy, crispy baked or some French fries? With potatoes you’ve got lots of options.

You’ve probably seen it before. A potato that has been lying around for a while, which causes all kinds of things to grow out of it. This is called sprouting. The potato uses itself as a source of nutrition to make sprouts. This process can take up to a year.

Juliette sees beauty in everyday life. For example in this potato that keeps changing. Now it’s only meant to be looked at. You are no longer able to eat it. This is how Juliette wants to make you look at this potato from a different perspective.
